24th UIA CONGRESS

TOKYO 2011: DESIGN 2050

It will be followed immediately by a UIA General Assembly, on 29 September to 1 October. Visions of design will be elaborated and shared in relation to considerations on the environment, life , and survival. The congress will examine these questions in the perspective of designing for 2050 and beyond.

The congress will take place at the prestigious Tokyo International Forum, realised by Rafael Vinoly as the result of an international competition organised with the support of the UIA in 1989.
